Starborough Manor, situated at the end of a long, tree-lined drive, was originally built in the 18th century and remodeled in both the early and late 19th Century. The house is in a parkland setting and overlooks a moated castle.
The manor of Starborough can be traced back to the 14th century; the present manor site was built upon after the original castle was demolished on the orders of Oliver Cromwell.
Starborough Manor was established as a bed and breakfast in 2002. The English Tourism Council has rated us five stars, with a gold award.We offer a very warm welcome to all our guests and offer extremely comfortable, country house style accommodation and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where everything is done to the highest standard. Guests are greeted with afternoon tea and homemade cake or biscuits.

Starborough Manor is in the middle of the countryside with views to the North Downs and is only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport.
We are an ideal base from which to visit the historic houses of Hever Castle, Chiddingstone Castle, Penshurst Place and Chartwell. There are many other National Trust properties within easy driving distance.
